Gary painted my entire house for a very competitive bid. Gary also showed up on time look professional and acted professional. I would recommend GMA renovation to anybody looking to have a job done right.

Gary was very helpful in researching the best way to repair and redo painted woodwork that had not been done properly by another contractor. The project itself was to repair and repaint our back porch. I would call on him to do other projects in the future.

He over promised and under delivered. He said he would do things that he didn't. He left cigarette butts in the yard, paint on the deck, porch and driveway and painted over peeling paint on the back of the garage. I don't believe he did 2 coats on all of the garage as promised. I can still see the old color in places. It was getting dark so he probably couldn't see the coverage. He was running out of time and pressed to collect the balance due before he finished the job. Our mistake. We should have come back the next day to look it over first instead. I think he underestimated the size of the job so needed to cut corners to finish. He did start when he said he would and was there every day that it wasn't raining. There was miscommunication on the trim. He only did one coat so it didn't cover well. I didn't realize that it wouldn't cover. He was a very personable guy but I don't think this is his calling.

No, every job is different so it's hard to have a standard system when comparing apples to oranges every time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial face/face meeting. I like to do a quick needs/concern analysis. Find out what the exact goal of the project is and then get to work to complete the job to the customers goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am OSHA 10/30 certified, safety is always first. I have over 12 years experience in the field. I consider my job as a beautification process, so doing the job as neat and accurate the first time leaves little room for mistakes.
