- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My full session fee is $100/session. I do not accept insurance in order to protect my clients. I am also willing to work with my clients to give a reduction to meet their budgets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first session is for us to get to know each other and make sure that it will be a good fit. There is no stress involved, and I do not make you jump right into the issues. I believe in trust, and you may take one look at me, and decide "no way am I trusting her!" But hopefully, you will actually realize that you can completely trust me and that my heart is all about helping you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a teacher and school admonstrator before staying home to raise my children. I have been a mother for 19 years and a wife for over 20 years. I can tell you that my life experiences have made me a better counselor than any course work ever could. I am so glad that I waited to pursue this career until I had lived enough life to realize that the best counselor is the one who realizes she definitely does not know it all.
