FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have roughly 15 years worth the hands on experience. I've worked with some of the worst painters and some of the best. I am Certified in lead renovation
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started with this type of work when I was about 13. I worked for the summer youth program and they had me work at the school that I also attended. My first task was to go out and paint the grandstand near the football field. Knowing much about nothing let alone painting at that age I went out and plugged away at it till it was completed. The feeling of accomplishment and a job well done for only being 13 was very rewarding. As I got older and worked in other fields I never got that same feeling of enjoying what I was doing. Having come from a family that has always worked in the fields of construction and painting. I joined a family members painting crew and eventually began working with another painting company refining my skills along the way bringing me to the point of starting my own business. All the while still enjoying what I do and taking great pride in doing it.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A project that I recently did that I am fond of is painting a living room for a customer. Initially, walking in it was unclear what to expect with how it would look in the end. A coat of paint isn't always just what is needed to make something look better. After many repairs and prep-work and combined ideas with using a few different colors to heighten the tone of the room. I was thrilled to have been able to turn the room around and leave the customer pleased with the way it looked and the work that I did.
