- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Prenatal Massages. All my massages are catered to the clients needs and may include trigger point, myofascial therapy, acupressure work. my rates are $60/hour, $70/90 minutes, $100/ 2 hours. All first time clients receive $20 off the first session. High School/College Students $20 off all sessions (Chair massage excluded). I also provide chair massage for clients in personal and corporate settings at the rates of $1 per minute to a max of 30 minutes. I provide couples massages starting at $70/hr and i have have a couple of female therapists that i work with if a female is requested. Corporate settings are different rates based on time needed and number of employees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have my clients fill out a client intake form and an expectations form. these forms ask about past and current injuries/health issues, past massage experiences, and what expectations you as a client have from me as your massage therapist and what you would like to achieve in our time together. I then go over what you put down and go over a game plan to address your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated at the top of my class from the 900 hour massage therapy program at National Holistic Institute - College of Massage Therapy in Sacramento with the title Professional Massage Therapist and Health Educator. The program consisted of classes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Thai, Shiatsu massages. Kinesiology, pathology, myofascial therapies, trigger point therapies, business and ethics classes among many more.
