- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to do a free first lesson to evaluate the student's linguistic ability. After about half an hour, it is very easy to think through what kind of learner the student will be. Visual? Book or computer oriented? I also like to meet the person to discuss their goals, time concerns etc;
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My students are very varied both in age and language. I have had many long term students ranging from kindergarteners to retired people. Because I teach 5 languages, my students' backgrounds tend to be very random. Given the nature of my services, I may have a Japanese student learning Spanish one hour and a Frenchman learning English the next.
