Introduction: Are you looking for a fun and effective way for your child to learn another language? I offer immersive Spanish classes for children. In my classes, we play in Spanish, sing in Spanish, dance in Spanish, cook in Spanish, paint in Spanish, and do lots of other things in Spanish. The classes are specifically designed to introduce vocabulary and grammar to a small group of young children via an immersive environment. I use age-appropriate activities and games to engage my students and start them on the path to Spanish fluency.

Ana has been a wonderful Spanish teacher to my 6 year old granddaughter. Ana demonstrates an unusual amount of creativity and energy during her lessons. She uses full Spanish emersion and engages the children in a number of different activities, such as crafts, baking, painting, playing with dolls, etc. On her first visit, Ana greeted my granddaughter in English at the front door. She told her that her house was a magical place as whenever you stepped off the front hall rug, everything would turn into Spanish. If, after trying very hard to express herself in Spanish, she needed to say anything in English, she could only do so by coming back to the special rug in the front hall. My granddaughter loves her lessons and I highly recommend Ana as a Spanish teacher.

We went through 2 5-session long parent & child sessions with Ana and we will likely do more in the future. We started when our little boy was a little over 2. There are no Spanish speakers in our family. Our boy loves the classes! We were both a little scared coming to unknown place without never meeting the teacher but once there we were soon very comfortable. Ana thoroughly prepares for classes with some great little sensory or play activities for kids and also gives us a little homework. She was very patient with our boy who sometimes prefers running and jumping as opposed to some focused activities, and she quickly incorporates running and jumping into language learning if that what the kid prefers. Very easy going and catering to the kids' specific needs or interests. We take quite a few different classes and kids activities and find this class to be an awesome additive - because it is very affordable and private -it is easy to fit in our schedule and we always have a great experience. Ana has 3 adorable boys herself of different ages that speak Spanish and we really appreciated when she included the youngest kid in our session because the two boys immediately bonded and started conversing without us trying to prompt. Anything social that we can do during the class is really a great bonus! In the past few weeks our kid was asking to go to Ana's house and he immediately switch to using Spanish when he though of her. That is pretty cool to observe and speaks a lot of immersion method where a specific person gets associated with a specific language. (We are raising our kid tri-lingual)

Ana has a natural talent with teaching young children. Going to her lessons are the highlight of my children's week. Ana goes the extra mile to provide comprehensive, fun and interesting lessons and the smile on my kid's faces is a great reward.

I have known Ana for several years, and she is great with kids: she is patient, intuitive, and very spontaneous. My own 2 and 4 year old have been learning a lot from her: vocabulary, grammar, culture, everyday communication skills...most of all how to "grow up in Spanish!"
