Emily's Pet Care (Emily) provided twice daily care and insulin injections for our cat (Leo) who typically doesn't like people anywhere near him. Their caring manor and persistence on making sure Leo had his injections went above and beyond the call of duty. I was kept informed on Leo's status and was very comfortable knowing he was in the best hands while we weren't available to care for him. Kudos to Emily, as once-grumpy Leo is now her friend! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, and Care Visits in your home: Meet at the customer's home to discuss details and to be sure that I am the perfect match for what your family needs. Overnight Stays in My Home: The customer and their dog(s) meet at my home to see where your pup will be staying while you are away. This is when we will make sure my dog and yours get along. Customer and pet information forms are to be completed prior to these visits. All questions and concerns can be discussed prior to, during, or after the visit
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Midwest Institute for Medical Assistants in 1999. I continued my education while working in animal hospitals. I gained the bulk of my experience while working at an animal emergency clinic for several years.
