Ligers Soccer Academy

Introduction: I was born and raised in Brazil and started playing club soccer when I was 8 years old. Soccer in Brazil is completely different than soccer in USA. We didn't get prizes for participating in a competition. If we want the trophy, we had to earn it, own it, conquer it, chase it, hunt it and fight for it. I hope you got the point. So I grew up with that mind set to be the best or go home with an empty hand. I learned every single position and played in every position on the field. I know what it takes to make a player succeed. I coached for 3 yards a high school level team, and we won all 3 years, with two coach of the year awards. The formula is quite simple for me, but the two main ingredients need to come from you, which are the following: 1) Willingness to learn 2) Hard work For the rest, I got it covered. The rest includes the following: * Skills * Techniques * Agility * Performance * Strength * Endurance * Laws of the Game * View of the Field, Players, Plays, etc. * Information * Experience In and Out of the Field There is no question I can't answer or can't find for you. There is no situation I can't overcome for you. There are no excuses or exceptions to stop you now. I love it all. I love seeing the progress through hard work, seeing the kids kicking the ball from the first time or seeing them getting ready for their tryouts and watching the development of every skill or play. I help each one overcome all kinds of struggle that might get in his/her path to success. I create a real game situation during practices that will assist with the learning process and retention of the lesson for a lifetime. It is too much to describe over 30 years of experience in a single and simple paragraph.
