Introduction: First Star Construction stands on the foundation of being highly knowledgeable-- Giving expert home advice that will exceed customer expectations, bringing to life thoughtful design, and enhancing the value and livability of your home through a well-managed project. Our service includes an initial personal consultation and walk-thru of the space. We create preliminary designs and a preliminary budget. We then assist the homeowner with detailing the plans, selections, and finalizing the investment required. Our work on the project begins with concerns for your safety: protection of unaffected areas of the home and work traffic areas. We establish processes for security, material storage, waste containment and removal, as well as other precautions. During construction, we progress according to the plans. As always, we prioritize consulting with the homeowner throughout the project, and changes are put into writing for clarity. At the end of the project, we do a walk through and make a punch list of any items needing attention so that we can leave your space exactly the way you want it. You will be treated fairly and honestly, and your experience with First Star Construction will make the spaces in your home newer, bigger, and more useful than ever before. I find great satisfaction in working with the homeowner through a process of creating a great design, and building and finishing the spaces. I am pleased when I’m told that the finished project is more livable, more practical, and more beautiful than the customer originally envisioned. I believe this starts with asking the right questions and then listening carefully; this allows me to design and build something that exceeds expectations.
