Introduction: What I can whole heartedly guarantee in list form—in promises to my patients who I am caring for—that what distinguishes me from others is:
1. I listen to your soul first and then your instrument.
2. I help you become aware of what is blocking expression of performance from story (if any) through investigation of free flowing breath, impulse, and expression.
3. I give you observation from a fellow actor of what I believe to see and hear you using your Text, your Voice, and your Body to LIVE your story. You will know what story you want to tell. What we will be doing is putting that awareness into Practice. Practicing the ever elusive Conscious Competence with breathing crafted life into the Practice of that story you choose to be a part of.
4. To young students in age or training, My age and training experience equips me with a familiar, fresh, and simple vernacular bridge to harnessing the energy and flow of this art form.
I enjoy working with curious artists in search of what this art form gives them, and if they're open to discovery, we begin to work and discover together. Offering my help to another artist only makes me a better teacher and shows me a whole new experience with every new unique and complex individual.
