FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I know this has been an answer for a lot of these questions, but just talk to me! If you have budget concerns, we can try and set up something like a payment plan.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Let’s talk and get to know each other! I want to hear your ideas and share mine. I want to make sure you feel comfortable putting your memeories in my hands. 2. Now it’s time for specifics. Decide on the specific style that you’re looking for, write down a list of the most important shots that you want out of the shoot. Sign an agreement for all of the things we’ve talked about. Decide on a location (if needed) and set a date/time that works for both of us. 3. Do the session! (Best part!) 4. Look through the images a little together so that I can get an idea of what your favorites are. Make double sure we got all the most important shots. 5. Then, once I’ve done the shoot and edited the photos, you’ll receive images in an email. If you’re happy with the final result, I’ll mail you a flash drive of the finished images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an artist (painting and drawing) and a published writer, being creative and telling stories have always been second nature to me. I feel like photography is a meeting of the two; I’m telling your story through images. I’ve taken hundreds of art classes and photography classes, so I have experience with depth of field, angles, colors and knowing how to express emotion through something tangible.
