- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $15 per visit/ walk for dogs; $12 per visit for cats. If there are multiple visits in the day it's $30-40 depending on distance and $30-40 overnight stays depending on distance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to set up a meet and greet appointment to meet the client and their pet and discuss any particular behavior to be aware of, ie. they don't like little white dogs, they love to play with a particular toy before going to bed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been dog sitting periodically for about 5 years, mostly on the side of my full-time work. I grew up with several dogs in my home and we rescued a few when I was a kid so I'm very comfortable having pets around and quite miss it.
