It all started when founder and makeup artist, Mary Johnston, saw an opportunity to make an imperative change in the industry; we forget that makeup is about enhancing our natural beauty, not covering it up! Often times we compare ourselves to others and so readily forget to love our own beauty. It is important to remember that beauty comes in all shapes, ages, colors, and sizes, and that we are all beautifully flawed in our own unique (and human!) way. Touch of Radiance's mission is to spread this philosophy and invoke feelings of self-love while providing the best possible service for our clientele. Mary was super attentive to detail and I was amazed by her work! I normally don’t wear makeup whatsoever and Mary made sure she listened to my concerns (I didn’t want to look cakey!) My makeup looked natural but appropriate for my event! (Prom) I also didn’t know what I was looking for, but I’m glad Mary was so creative! I got soooooo many compliments from my friends at prom and my makeup lasted UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. I will definitely refer Touch of Radiance to everyone I know and will SO book again if I need to!

I liked Mary's quality of work. You can tell that she truly cares about the work she does. She understands that everyone's skin and complexion are different, and she taylors to specific needs. Not only that, but she told me exactly what her thought process was while working on me which helped me further appreciate the end product.
Mary emphasizes on not covering up a person's natural beauty but enhancing it, and I feel that was what she had done for me. I recommend Mary to anyone looking for someone who is passionate as well as professional in their line of work.
