Responded to a repair request, setup appointment and then called 55mins later to say he only does installs and had not read my problem description. Apparently Thumbtack charges him $10 for submitting a quote to me.Apr 26, 2018VerifiedMax N.'s reply
Praneeth- The appointment you booked was for a consultation over the phone. When you called at 6:38pm, I was momentarily occupied and was not able to talk at that moment, but responded with a text to inform you I would call you right back. The misunderstanding when I spoke to you was that you assumed I would arrive at your house and take a look at your problem. When we spoke on the phone, you presented to me your problem but I explained to you that I only do installation. Even though I was not able to physically resolve your problem, I helped you reach out to the right person with their contact information to resolve your problem.
Did the full bathroom remodeling with AMX. Max and his team are hardworking people, down-to-earth and very empathetic to client's needs. He gave candid advices to help me get the style I want while s staying in budget. He also handled an incidental shipping delay and my HOA's mistake with patience and professionalism. It was so easy and such a pleasure working with AMX Plumbing.Aug 31, 2017Verified

Max replaced a shower pan and upgraded the plumbing in my 95 year old SF home. He was very professional, punctual, reliable, had a reasonable fee and the overall quality of his work was excellent. I would definitely recommend him to others.Jul 26, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I work with new or prospective clients I like to review with them their needs first, and give them the best quality of work that is most cost effective for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In 2002 i obtained my plumbing contractor state license in the city of San Bruno contractor school. I also did four years of my apprenticeship prior to 2002 in the Bay Area and I have had my own plumbing business for 12 years. I continue to keep myself educated with current city and states codes law requirements.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always been good with my hands with mechanical things and I was fortunate enough to work side by side with a very well known and respectable plumbing contractor for many years.
