Anyone reading this should save their $120 service call fee. While they were responsive and have a great thumbtack user experience, that is where the positives end. The tech did not solve my issue nor provide a recommended approach. When the company solicited my positive review for yelp, it showed they were short term focus. When I called them upon this to actually solve my issue, they elected to not respond. Which in turn motivated me to review my overall experience.Nov 16, 2017VerifiedAppliance D.'s reply

And we value you as a customer. I checked the appointment and verified with our tech. Our Technician recommended replacing the water heater due to age. It's more likely to spring leaks and requires more maintenance in the long run. We understand your frustration. Having a broken Heater is a headache. However, please understand that our Technician has to earn a living as well. That's what the Service Call Fee is for. If there's anything we can do to help you further, please let us know. - Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?We recently repaired a clothes dryer that the owner was convinced was not repairable. Not only did we repair the unit for much less than the cost of a replacement, we found an dangerous build-up of lint inside the machine and cleaned that up at no extra charge. Our customer was happy and left us a great review!
