ACTING:
I love love love acting, it's my passion. I started acting my senior year of high school and haven't stopped since. I have my undergraduate degree in Acting and have been in both musicals and plays. I'm currently getting my MFA in TV Film and Theater acting at Academy Of Art University. It's a graduate program for three years and I'm having a ball.
SINGING:
Taking voice lessons with me is a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I strive for the best from my students while not pushing them past their breaking point, so their voices never get injured. I am trained in both classical and musical theatre, I have been singing and taking voice lessons for over 12 years, and made the All State Choir in Arizona all 4 years. I went to 3 colleges and eventually received my degree in Theatre; (yes I took the long route) and was the lead in all the musicals I tried out for in my collegiate career. I majored in Vocal performance, performing in recitals, but then realized I loved being in musicals which lead me to the last 2 colleges that I attended. I taught voice lessons my last year at college and loved it. The only promise I ever make is that I will give you 100% each lesson and would love the same commitment in return.
I enjoy watching the progression students make week by week from the hard work they put into a monologue, scene, or song. Since I majored in Theater Acting, I can help students tryout for multiple styles such as plays, musicals, voice over work, erc. If I didn't enjoy acting as much as I do, I would've become a theatre teacher because being able to help someone go further than what they imagined brings me joy.
