Kate Greenthal

Introduction: I specialize in tutoring math, statistics, economics, and standardized test prep. I focus on the learning experience by individualizing the instruction to match the student's distinct personality and learning style. I earned a B.A. from Harvard in Economics and an M.B.A from Stanford. In addition to previous tutoring experience, I have worked as a trader for Goldman Sachs & in scouting analytics for the Oakland A's. I excel in test taking, earning a 1600 on the SAT and a 790 on the GMAT. My goal as a tutor is not just to improve the student's performance, but also to help build their confidence and to foster an enjoyment of the subject matter. This not only improves results for the current course, but has far reaching benefits into the future. I have a true love of learning and my enthusiasm is contagious!
