Dhwipa has helped me plan a few of my events... my husband's 30th, bachelorette party in Vegas, my destination wedding in India, my baby shower in San Francisco, and my nephew's birthdays. She has a succinct eye for detail, she is very personal and every step of the event she is there for you. She has helped me secure venues and will even negotiate rates and ensure the events run smoothly. In fact, during my babyshower, our venue fell through with only 2 weeks to go, and she re-did the research and found us a great location within a couple of days. She helped with planning and putting together the decor, finding caterers, bakers, bar crew, etc - she is the full package with great contacts! Her passion really shines through her work and she works like she is family. Her vision for an event combined with any type of budget really makes her an amazing event planner.

Here are a few things when working with a customer: - understand their budgets - Understand their vision and theme(s) then present a few options (face to face or email or phone) - Sign a contract - be available for the customer for any questions, concerns and think of it as it is my party - manage all details
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with corporations for various Kick off parties and events, welcome receptions. Done other weddings in Hawaii and India and here in the bay area. I have also planned birthday parties (30th, 40th, 50th etc) anniversary parties, children's birthday parties, surprise events, baby showers etc
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
less then 6 weeks my husband's surprise birthday party that took coordination for guests from all over the country and some from India. This was a party for a 100 people.
