Introduction: I approach my service as a custom craft bespoke to each and every client that rewards me with the opportunity to capture their most important moments in life. I aspire to immortalize those precious fleeting moments in hopes that someday when you gaze back at those images you will find yourself transported back to that eventful day in your mind's eye. We live in the age where photographic images are primarily shared digitally as quickly as it is made available. Wedding photography has evolved technically, but workflow timeline still remains as if it is stuck back in the 1980's. I offer my clients swifter turnaround than most of my competitors. I provide a selection of highlight images from each session that I make available to them within 48 hours after the wedding day ends. I also endeavor to deliver the entire post-processed collection within 8 weeks timeframe. Still, I believe post-processing itself is an art form and an integral part of photographer's style. And with the exception of utilizing outsourced retouchers for complex masking and object removals for time-conservation sake, I post-process each image independently. My heart skips each time I realize I captured "that" significant moment. Essence of my work is about preparing to achieve that fulfillment each time I actuate the shutter.

Casual family pictures... We met Toshi at the Palace of Fine Arts and he right away had us take pictures utilizing the beautiful space and structures for the back grounds. It was crowded that day but Toshi was able to get great shots of us as if we had the entire place to ourselves. He already knew the spots he wanted to photograph so it helps when your photographer is already familiar with the location. He made the session fun and casual which was exactly what I wanted :) He also carries with him lots of equipment to help with lighting and all that. A true professional. Thank you Toshi capturing our family!

If you are looking for a Photographer to capture your once in a lifetime moment, without having to worry about a single thing, Toshi is the guy for you! We have been constantly communicating from the time that I hired him. We talked almost everyday. He replied almost instantly. He made sure he answered all my questions and addressed any uncertainties that I have had. By the time my wedding day arrived, I felt that Toshi is more than just my Wedding Photographer. He is very professional, respectful and truly, a man of his words. Toshi will amaze you on the kind and the number of ideas that he has to offer, not to mention the extra things that he did for us just to make our weding day extra special. Wedding Ceremony & Portrait Session starting @ $2,400 includes an online gallery for professional prints & sharing capabilities; Print-optimized digital files of all final processed images; Additional B&W treatments for every final processed color image; Complete Print & Distribution License — full rights to print your images anywhere and share. Premium package, in addition, includes wedding cinematography, couture style wedding album, and an option of archival paper/canvas/metal prints. Photography for Engagement / Elopement prices begins at $600 for 3- hour session. Marquee Portrait / Headshot prices begin at $200 per session. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Taking time to understand my client and their expectations is the most important part of my work. Value of my work is determined by how successfully I will use that understanding to tell the story and emotion of the moment I capture.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
One full year of formal wedding & event photography work experience beginning in 1982 and continued apprenticeship and second shooter experience for over 30 years. I began BFA program in Photography and Design but did not complete the program.
