- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Video chat lesson rates: - 30-minute lesson in your home: $34 - 45-minute lesson in your home: $49 - 60-minute lesson in your home: $64 Rates for Senior Tunelark Instructors may be somewhat higher and vary depending on the instructor. But most Tunelark Instructors offer the rates listed above.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we ask about your criteria in selecting an instructor. Once we understand what you're looking for, an experienced educator on our team will recommend a Tunelark Instructor for you or your child. Next, we will schedule your free lesson. We'll work around your schedule to find a convenient time. We'll set up a high-speed video chat for your lesson. After the first lesson, we'll check in to ask how it went. If you or your child would like to continue working with that instructor, we can schedule more lessons. We believe instructor-student fit is extremely important, so if you'd like to explore other options, we're always happy to match you with a different Tunelark Instructor. That said, we usually make a great match on the first try. Going forward, we do our best to make scheduling and paying for lessons with your instructor as simple as possible. We organize upcoming lessons in Google Calendar and we make it easy to pay for lessons in just two clicks on our secure website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tunelark Instructors are expert musicians and experienced educators. They usually have one or more degrees in music or music education. They all have years of teaching experience. As part of our hiring process, we reference-check instructors and train them on how to help students get the most out of our online, game-based music curriculum. Before matching you with an instructor, we'll send over their bio so that you can learn about their background and experience before deciding whether to schedule a free lesson. We're confident that you'll be pleased by the quality of instructors you'll have access to through our service.
