I was fortunate enough to have Naseem plan, coordinate, and decorate my law school graduation celebration. I was extremely stressed out during this period of time. Not only was I studying for my finals, but I also had to catch a red eye to Florida the night of my graduation celebration for a work event. I had no time to plan anything for my graduation. Naseem completely took over all errands, all ideas for decorations, and coordination with the restaurant for the event the day of. She was extremely patient and her excitement eased my stress. I highly recommend Naseem Events for any type of event you have in mind -- ranging from weddings, graduations, birthday parties, and baby/bridal showers. Thanks Naseem for an amazing graduation party! Everything was spectacular and I couldn't thank you enough!

I am so grateful to have gotten to work with Naseem in planning my wedding. She's ebullient and has a contagious enthusiasm about weddings. I kept wanting to play it cool and pretend I was above all the girly wedding stuff, but I couldn't help but get excited every time I talked to Naseem. She unlocked some of that wedding enthusiasm in me, and I'm so glad she did, because it made the planning experience a zillion times better. Also want to add that Naseem has a special talent for making luxurious paper art without spending a fortune. She knows how to use craft to transform the most humble components into beautiful details that make an event feel special and meaningful.

Being a wedding vendor myself, I completely understand the chaos and madness that goes on behind the scenes of any event. Naseem's professionalism and ability to work seamlessly under pressure was something that really stood out to me among other vendors I have worked with. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge based on the service you'd like. I offer packages like full service (6 months - 1 year in advance), partial planning, day-of, etc. It really depends on what you need/want.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically would like to set up an initial phone call with interested clients to get a better sense of the event/ wedding they have in mind and then make sure we are a good fit. Then let the magic begin!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Communications and Psychology double major from UC Davis. Both those fields of study have prepared me significantly for working with people. I was also an account manager in both my last roles in tech (one in the recruiting field and the second at an app start up) so I have heavy experience working in clients and making sure their events were successful.
