Introduction: I am a retired math professor. I have taught math/stats at universities for over 30 years, and have tutored many students at public schools and colleges. My son basically learned all math from me till he went to MIT. I helped him to win US number 31st in MathCounts national competition and to score 500/500 in SAT Math when he was in 8th grade. I know not only the math, but also the effective ways of teaching. I am sure you can learn a lot of math from me. Learning/teaching math is my joy and part of my life.

Mr. Chen is a very genuine teacher. He teaches in a way that the student can understand properly and gives many examples. If the student does not understand a certain concept, he will make sure that the student fully understands it even if it means going over the session time limit. In terms of punctuality, he is always on time. Most of the the arrives early to the meeting point and chooses to wait until it's time to start the class. Overall, even though English is not his 1st language, he makes up for it by giving extra supplements that help explain things. Even with that included, he truly deserves a 9.5/10.
