Introduction: I am a credentialed teacher with 8 years' experience teaching middle and high school math (Pre Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2). In addition, I have 3 years' experience tutoring students individually. My students have told me that I'm patient, encouraging, and great at explaining.
I became a math teacher because I love helping students have "ah-ha" moments of understanding a topic or solving a problem. With tutoring, I can tailor my approach specifically to one student so those "ah-ha" moments occur even more frequently.
