FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing usually starts at $150/hr and goes up from there depending on the event. That price pays for the session at any location with up to two wardrobe changes as well as editing and polishing 15 or more images for my client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually ask what kind of photos they are looking for and then start discussing what kind of setting they want. If it's a location I have never shot at before, I will go and take some test shots during the same time of day as the portraits are scheduled so that I can get an idea of what the light is going to look like. I want to be as prepared as I can. That being said, crazy things do happen, but I am prepared for anything and sometimes the unexpected can make for some amazing images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a few photography classes through the local community college, but most of my education comes from A LOT of online seminars. I have taken both free and paid seminars and think it is important to keep up on the trends in photography. Continuing education is a big part of who I am as a photographer and what I hope to achieve with my business.
