Introduction: Mariah Thompson founded Glam by Riah in 2015. This brand was a way to share her love of beauty with the world. Starting out, she pursued her passion for Makeup Artistry attaining a professional certification makeup artistry class at Taylor Andrews Academy in West Jordan, Utah. Since, she has been working along side models, photographers, personal clients, and the film industry creating various makeup looks. She has also been featured in Utah Bride Blog 2015. Mariah looks forward to working with you for your upcoming wedding, photoshoot, or whatever it may be! There are so many things I LOVE about my job, one being that I get the opportunity to make my clients feel beautiful and completely comfortable in their own skin. That is a the best feeling to me! This is such a rewarding job. I love that it not only makes you feel good, but when my clients are satisfied, it makes me feel over the moon happy!

Mariah is the best when it comes to makeup! I have had her do so many looks on me and I'm always pleased on how they come out, she makes the whole experience fun and enjoyable! I always have amazing experiences when she does my makeup. I would give glambyriah a 10/10. I would definitely recommend Mariah to all my friends.

Bride- $100 Bridesmaids-$60 Mother of the Bride/Groom- $60 Jr. Bridesmaids-$40 Homecoming & Prom Highschool Dances-$60 Engagements & Formals-$60 Date night & Other Special Occasion - $60 Please note: All applications of makeup include false lashes free upon asking!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will get to know my new client by asking questions regarding their likes and dislikes about makeup. I will get a feel for what they're looking for and what they absolutely do not want. I love when my client shows me photos, giving me a mental picture of what they're looking for. It really helps me to see what they're visualizing in their head. Next, we get started!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Makeup Artist from Taylor Andrews Academy in West Jordan, Utah.
