FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I'm working as Coastal Communications, my fee is $75 an hour. But since I've started doing a variety of different handyman type jobs, I try to stay within a reasonable fee schedule that works well for the customer and myself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since I was an installer and repair technician for Verizon for 15yrs, and have owned my own business for the past 20yrs, I am very well accustomed to going into many different home & business environments to get a job done, make the customer feel comfortable with my abilities, and respecting their property and their privacy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a high school diploma, and spent a few years taking construction management courses at Santa Monica College. Out of high school I became a union carpenter for a few years, before being hired at GTE of California in 1983 as a cable splicer.
