FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The prices below are a standard however, I am willing to negotiate packages. Dog Sitting- 20$ a day. This includes a thirty minute visit in the morning and a thirty minute visit in the evening. Any extra visits in the day cost $5. Overnight stays with your pet in your home can be discussed. Dog Walking or Play Sessions- $10 for a thirty minute walk, play or affection session. Each pet's individual needs is taken into consideration. Some companions simply need a bathroom break and affection if they are older or maybe susceptible to the heat. Other dogs need a brisk walk so they don't go stir crazy during the day. Any other services you are interested in can be discussed.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before I begin a job with any client, I meet with them and their pet for a consultation. We go over their companion's specific needs and requirements to ensure that we are both clear on expectations. I also like to meet any animal I work with at least once with their owner before I work with them alone. I find that it prevents unnecessary anxiety or stress later on.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Beyond being a dog owner for the past 13 years and pet sitter and walker for the past five years, I was also the Weekend Manager of a competitive Equestrian Facility. In my year there, I was in charge of the care of twelve horse including feeding, medicating, and cleaning of the facility.
