- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our office policy is: Seller pays 6 percent total commission; Buyer commission is paid by the Seller. We do not charge a retainer fee. Note: all fees are negotiable for each transaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a telephone call and/or face-to-face meeting to determine wants, needs, and qualifications. For Sellers, we do a Comparative Market Analysis and a detailed home evaluation. We then discuss how to best price and prepare the home for sale. For Buyers, we determine search criteria and then set up search capability on our website and/or the local Multiple Listing System (MLS). We then accompany them to homes they wish to view. For sellers and buyers, we assist through the entire process (purchase contract, other documents, title company meetings, etc).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kathy previously worked as a loan processor (bank) and a loan closer (title company). She has had her real estate license since May, 2004, and is certified as an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert).
