- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client priority is my priority, whether that be quick turnover, highly specialized content, or search engine optimized keywords. I make myself available at a moment's notice for editing, updates, proofreading, and more. Typically, my first step is to understand my client's goals for content: ideas, tone of voice, style of writing, length, similar examples they like, etc. can all be included in this process. Once I have a comprehensive understanding of their needs, I create a preliminary document. From this first version, clients can request changes, restructuring, additions, or refining. This is the client's opportunity to perfect their vision and give me a nuanced impression of their optimal preferences. I strive to build ongoing relationships with my clients in order to be a valuable, quick resource for enhancing professional or personal writing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a diverse, writing-heavy background in Sociology (B.A.), Holistic Health (certified yoga teacher, nutrition concentration), and Marketing (full-time position at a Restaurant Concept Group). I have professional experience in the following: advertising copy, website content, blog, grant proposal, technical document, academic paper, marketing, menu, email campaign, and resume writing.
