FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 4 different levels of service depending on how quickly our clients need their data returned to them. We also base our pricing by the size of the drive in gigabytes and by the failure. We offer the best price in the country for home users who are in no hurry for their data as well as the fastest emergency service for those needing their data yesterday. We offer data solutions affordable to virtually any customer who loses data. We even offer payment plan options for those not in a hurry for their data but can't afford the entire amount of the recovery in one lump sum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We gather the information we need to provide them with a basic quote range. We then perform a free evaluation of their hard drive or media device to determine the cause of failure. We then call our customer back and provide them with a firm price for a successful recovery. Our customer chooses if they want us to proceed with the recovery or not. Full payment is due before returning the recovered data to our clients. If the recovery is not satisfactory to our clients....we do not charge for the recovery and we do not return the recovered data. If we are unable to recover the data there are no charges unless otherwise agreed to by both parties. Sometimes....we charge a non refundable parts fee. This is very rare and only applies to situations where the drive was previously opened or parts are extra ordinarily expensive and File Savers has determined that there is a very slim chance of recovery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over a decade of experience in recovering data from hard drives, RAID arrays and other media storage devices. We have specialized training from world leading data recovery experts as well as our own R&D going on all the time.
