Introduction: I offer Couture Styling and Haircutting. I love developing my clients true characteristics through the imagery of art and fashion that allows my clients to hone and develop confidence with their natural beauty. Seasoned with pressures of styling for New York Fashion week as well as Vancouver BC fashion week, I understand the pressures of events. Working as a full time educator in the Beauty industry gave me experience in corrective cutting and styling, with an ability to appease any situation and turn it into a positive result. As a retired educator of the beauty industry I'm able to share my tools of beauty and guidance to each individual customer, bringing grace and positivity to every customers styling needs. Creating ease in every individuals life to gain confidence when looking into a mirror is part of "creating beauty." My work is Couture. My Integrity shines through in my finished styles. Aimee is incredible! I always love the cuts she gives me! I have unruly curly hair and each time Aimee cuts my hair it’s magically manageable again. And not just when she has finished my hair. Aimee has this way of cutting my hair for the duration of a few months, it looks good throughout a few months of it growing out. And she is way more that good for fantastic laughs! She’s flexible and I’m not really interested in trusting anyone else with my locks XO (It even looks good after 10 days without washing in the mountains, see photo ;)

Best haircuts I’ve ever had consistently for about a year now. She has the magic touch! Grows out beautifully too so it’s not just great right after she does it. Super sweet and friendly too which is a definite bonus. Can’t recommend more!

My wife has been getting her hair done by Aimee since 2004. She’s had long hair as well as many many many different short haircuts from Bobs to Pixies to Mohawks to Mullets... all of them have really amazing as a result of Aimee’s attention to detail and desire to make it perfect as opposed to just getting a client in and out in a short time frame. She’s the high end choice for a short haircut. I’ve been going to Aimee since 2006 after seeing all of my wife’s great haircuts. My haircut lasts 6-7 weeks (with others it lasts maybe 3 weeks)! The grow out is great. Her texturing is second to none! We moved to Texas a few years ago but I still make my way up to Seattle for family & Hawks games and end up getting my haircut two to three times per year by Aimee. If you’re looking for a constant change like my wife, or something exactly the same every time like myself... Aimee is the solution.

Special Occasion Styling can vary depending on additional hair, intricate accessories or amount of hair. Couture Haircuts are a Flat rate of $100.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication can be done via email or text messages. A series of questions will need to be addressed as well as exploring imagery for the desired look. Consideration of timeline and season are also key.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
•15 years of hairdressing at Gene Juarez Salons and spas. •Specialized Design Instructor (Full Time) •Product Educator for Kerastasè, Shu Uemera, Bumble&Bumble,R&Co,Oribe and Nioxin. •Backstage Styling for Fashion week in NYC and Vancouver B.C. •On site styling for a variety of professional and private photo shoots.
