FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For academic tutoring I charge $30/hour- my rate is flexible in extenuating circumstances and it differs for groups. For resume or career help, my rate depends on the service- again, I'm always flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally speak with customers over the phone about logistics and then spend the first session discussing goals, the gameplan, and what the customer wants our time together to look like. Depending on the customer and subject, I also like to start with diagnostic tests to see where they are at in a given subject. Mainly, I like to get an idea what the customer wants from me and move forward from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am finishing my Master's degree in Special Education with an English Language Arts endorsement; I have passed all my licensure tests, and I will have my Master's degree in June! My Bachelor's degree is in English and I worked as a freelance writer for over five years, most of which were with a company that assisted with academic essays, RESUMES, cover letters, web content, and the list goes on. I am also a Certified Behavior Instructor for students with Autism. My Bachelor's degree is in English, where I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. I spent several years working with a company that assisted with academic essays, resumes, cover letters, and web content as well.
