- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
30-minute sessions are $50 60-minutes sessions are $75 Newborn sessions are $120 (up to 3 hours) Session fees include time/talent of photographer, editing/retouching and online proof gallery. Images (print or digital) are purchased separately, online, from the gallery. Prints start at $5 and digital images are $10 each (or $100 for the entire session, as HR digital downloads). Packages: Weddings start at $600 Events start at $150
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being contacted by a client, we can discuss details via email or by telephone. Once details are agreed upon, I send my client a contract and invoice via email. The next step is to complete a questionnaire so that I can get a good understanding of what my client wants from her session. About a week before the session (or a couple of weeks prior to events), I confirm details with my client in preparation for the upcoming session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking pictures since I was a child. I had a film camera in middle school that I would use to shoot an entire roll a week and run down to the drug store to develop (hoping that the shots would be great). When I was in high school, my mom gave me her slr camera to play around with. I, of course, have spent many years photographing my friends, family and my own children. Last year, I decided to grow my very own dream business and begin Amanda Troutman Photography. Since then, I have taken numerous workshops, webinars and classes to continue to grow.
