We are a personal training facility that offers new and inivative ways to not only help you reach your goals, but to never reach your peak in or out of the gym. We do this with good biomechanics to keep injury at bay. We are the only American Ninja Warrior and Spartan Race obstacle gym in Spokane area.I am a life coach who desires for you to have all the tools you need to succeed, while enjoying your journey more and more!

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

My passion and ministry in life is helping people set goals and accomplish life skills and to make them stick for good. Change is hard and almost impossible for us ALL, however when my clients develop that change I see a new fire in thier lives and it gives me great joy to be apart of it!!

    K Jay is amazing! He is encouraging and uplifting. He pushes me hard but also is very understanding of my struggle emotionally and mentally as a trauma survivor. I'm still early in my fitness journey but he saw potential in me when I didn't. K Jay is very knowledgeable about health and fitness. I can not say enough positive things about him and my experience. I'm now a believer in the right person being put in my life at the right time because of K Jay.

    From my very first meet with KJ I felt very comfortable with him teaching my son. I feel confident in his skills especially after seeing the smile on my sons face after their first one on one session. I have no doubt my son will reach his goals.

    Give SCE Fitness a try!
    KJay's is very caring and knowledgeable. I always leave my workouts knowing that I was pushed to my limit and yet very fulfilled. I like that he meets individually with us to take our measurements. After my first 6 week meeting I reduced my body fat percentage by 6 percent! There's a special community spirit present in the gym. I highly recommend SCE Fitness for anyone serious about caring for their health and performance.

    I have received group class training with K. Jay for a very long time! He is fantastic at working will all fitness levels and is creative with his workouts, so they are challenging for your level. He truly cares about all of his clients and will help you reach your goals, with fitness and nutrition. He makes working out fun and I love new setting with a smoothie bar!

    I started with KJay a little less than a year ago. Since joining, I have made more progress with my goals than with other trainers. He takes time to know your goals and works with you to help you reach them. He is a great motivator, who pushes you to accomplish more than you thought you could. He teaches you not only about your physical health, but includes a customized nutrition plan.

    It is not just training, it is Fitness for Life!
    I have been training with KJay for two years; my objective in the beginning was get in condition to do the Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride. This is a two day 100 mile per day ride. Not only did I successfully and satisfactory complete this ride, I had a great time with guys 10 years my junior who couldn’t figure out what happened to this couch potato . I still continue to bike in addition to doing Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) with my wife. Over the years I have done weight training while going to college, circuit training and work outs with friends. While this is all good several elements were missing and that was a great solid knowledgeable trainer who wanted you to meet your goals, who is educating me on nutrition and the value of good sleep. I recommend KJay Davis to anyone serious about becoming “fit for life” REGARDLESS of where their starting point would be at the moment. Greg Bogart

    KJay is a gift to Spokane
    I am a longtime “yoga person” who doesn't really enjoy gyms. Yet working out with KJay has changed my mind--especially because I am at an age where women tend to lose muscle tone/strength rather rapidly. I have come to realize this kind of exercising is something my body and mind really need to feel at my best. I feel GREAT after working out with KJay. I wake up the next day feeling great, I sleep better, my posture is improved, and my mood is brighter. KJay is a gift to Spokane. He is kind and joyous and absolutely dedicated to helping people feel better. The spirit of the gym reflects his light nature--it is a fun and encouraging environment. I would give KJay ten stars if I could! He's wonderful.

    Spokane's best private training facility.
    KJ is committed to my growth un like any trainer I have ever worked with. How he remembers all our personal goals is very impressive. I love the variety he comes up with to push us to extreme fatigue without risking injury. No longer in my 30's and a family to support this is very important to me. The new gym is private and a lot of fun. NEVER to late for a little NINJA training! KJ's commitment to honoring the Lord in all he does really shows in his dedication to his clients.

    He makes a difference
    KJay is consummate professional. He takes the time to understand your goals, current fitness level, diet and time. Taking all facets into consideration, he crafts a personalized exercise and diet plan. Make no mistake, he will hold you accountable, but is also your biggest cheerleader. Sticking to his plan, you'll have more energy, confidence and look great.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our regular pricing is as follows: One- on- one sessions $75 Fit 4 Life and Spartan/American Ninja Warrior Classes $349/month
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With every potential client, I spend at least 1 hour going over past experiences, goals and hopes for the future. This time is like an interview stage for them so they can make sure that I am the best possible fit for them. We also take their measurements and explain what the results are. We end by taking the client through a series of exercises so that we can know how to best start their fitness journey and answer any remaining questions the client may have.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Before I was a trainer, I spent most of my life unhappy in the decisions I made. I was overweight, tired and looking for solutions to change. Spending time learning from failed past experiences, my academia, and personal trainers like my sister, I began to see the empirical evidence of implementing solutions with hard work pay off. My desire to help people realize their full potential began.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with 81 year olds down to 13 years old with every type of body build and athleticism in between. We cater our training sessions to the individual and their specific needs. We have clients who do Ironman and Spartan Races on a regular basis, we have a client training to be on American Ninja Warrior, clients who come in to stay fit for life and those trying to lose weight and work towards a healthy lifestyle.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The client needs to know, like and trust both the trainer and the environment. This however is a process and we recommend them doing some research to make sure we are the best fit and that they will be comfortable. We encourage potential clients to come in the gym and just check it out before making any decisions. Our consultations are free of any obligation to sign. It's a great chance to see the facility, check out our equipment and meet our trainers/coaches.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What are their short term goals and long term goals inside and outside of the gym. What is bringing them into the gym and what are they looking for in a workout facility. These questions are foundational to staying in the gym when it starts to get tough. We go back to these original goals to re-ignite a fire within when it starts to fade.
