- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly rate. I do not charge for travel time, prep time, or follow up. Typical follow up is an e-mail to the student, cc'ing one or both parents that summarizes: 1) What we covered in that session. 2) Homework for next session. 3) Topics to review (these become a useful, personalized study guide). 4) Confirm time/date of next session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our best working relationships are when the student, parent, and tutor are all on the same page from the first phone call. It is important to understand the student's starting point and goals to develop a personalized plan to lead to SAT and/or ACT success.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive testing experience and work with dozens of students on SAT and ACT preparation.
