- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I prefer to have a one on one conversation with my clients to confirm what they're expectations are for me and to identify where they are in the planning process.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My aunt is a caterer and asked that I be the hostess for the wedding reception. My primary duties for that event was to show the guests to their seats and to be a point of contact for any issues concerning the food and/or seating. The mother of the bride was so impressed with my work ethic she gave my aunt an additional tip, specifically for me. I've been wanting to do this ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've been a Day of Coordinator for weddings and birthday parties. Hosted a few baby showers and a few special events (ie fashion show).
