FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 a week based on four lessons, paid monthly in advance ($100/mo) If we know of a schedule conflict early enough I will do my best to reschedule. Missed lessons without notice are paid in full. Usually there is some flexibility.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Often it is a "year at a time" commitment, with weekly lessons and daily practice. Lessons are 45 minutes (60 minutes for advanced students) and practice ranging anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours, depending on level. I like to give students a "free day" where they schedule one day a week they don't need to practice. Helps them focus on the days they do practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold Music Ed degrees from my years in the UK where I was Music Teacher in schools and ran a thriving private studio for piano keyboard voice and theory lessons. Licentiate in Music Education, Trinity College of Music - London Teacher's Certificate, Trinity College of Music - London
