Amazing teacher & Pianist, Lorilee makes learning the piano fun XNov 14, 2015
Lorilee is an amazing teacher with tremendous creativity and understanding. She still stands as a massive inspiration to me, which led me to choose music as a career path.Nov 1, 2015
Lorilee was my daughter's piano/ music teacher at her high school. She is full of life, and is a bubbly enthusiastic person. She lives for music. I have been to a few concerts in Manchester, England with my daughter and had attended a masterclass for the children by an eminent pianist. My daughter's knowledge of music and her piano playing had improved greatly. She is still studying music and engineering at her University.Nov 1, 2015
Lorilee is a truly brilliant teacher. She is intuitive and considerate. She is like a great friend rather than just a teacher. I wish we still lived close by as I can't find another teacher as good as her! I couldn't recommend her enough!Oct 31, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$25 a week based on four lessons, paid monthly in advance ($100/mo) If we know of a schedule conflict early enough I will do my best to reschedule. Missed lessons without notice are paid in full. Usually there is some flexibility.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Often it is a "year at a time" commitment, with weekly lessons and daily practice. Lessons are 45 minutes (60 minutes for advanced students) and practice ranging anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours, depending on level. I like to give students a "free day" where they schedule one day a week they don't need to practice. Helps them focus on the days they do practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold Music Ed degrees from my years in the UK where I was Music Teacher in schools and ran a thriving private studio for piano keyboard voice and theory lessons. Licentiate in Music Education, Trinity College of Music - London Teacher's Certificate, Trinity College of Music - London
