I just had Johnathan Clark at Tartan Covers LLC install a large amount of high end cabinets for me in my house and I couldn't be happier. I flip houses and deal with a lot of contractors who always claim to do quality work. More often than not I get charged a high end price and get low end or shotty work. Johnathan is one of the very few exceptions and the only cabinet installer I will use from here on out.
Johnathan is very professional, and so easy to work with. He worked around my schedule changes, and busted his rear end to fit me in on the weekend, so I could move forward on my project. When he showed up to install the cabinets I had realized that I did not have water on the back wall for the fridge's ice-maker and I had to tear up a section of the subfloor to run water lines between the two walls. This forced Johnathan to regroup and find other things to do while I installed the water lines in the kitchen. He never complained. Another thing I appreciated about Johnathan was that he consulted with me a lot along the way and gave me options concerning the layout.
Johnathan, shows up when he says he will and he does exactly what he says he is going to. He is detailed and precise. He is fully tooled with quality tools, and is very careful with the cabinets. I watched him work all day, and it became obvious that he was very experienced, patient, and skilled. He is a true professional and I am so glad that I got Johnathan to install my cabinets. He even adjusted all of the guides and hinges to make sure all of my doors and drawers lined up and closed properly.
If his estimate is a little higher than the next guy; pay it. You will be glad you did. As I told Johnathan today; "this is the easiest check I have had to write on this project so far."
