This company gave us a great bid on just getting our pool vacuumed. Once Jesse and his coworker were here they started working, but had to change their price because I guess dirt and pollen had been sitting too long so the pool needed to be brushed first and then vacuumed on another day. We were under the impression that it was going to be a simple vacuum and they did not inform us until they had already started brushing the pool (which is something my husband and i would’ve done ourselves if we had known it needed to be done) instead of paying literally double our quote we said to not worry about it and we will find someone else to do the work. Jesse insisted on not leaving this job unfinished and said he would complete it at his quoted price. He added chemical without our request and left saying he would be back the next day to vacuum but requested we pay him. Giving him the benefit of the doubt we paid him full price. The next day i receive a text message stating that he will come out for an extra service fee. All in all, this was very unprofessional and we do not want someone at our house that we cannot trust. We are a young couple with a nice home and pool that we have worked very hard to get, and to have someone try to ask for more money multiple times after an agreed price is not good business. We will be do no more business with this company.Apr 29, 2018VerifiedJesse D.'s reply
I am writing this response to address Mrs. Sazan P's review. I never want to have an unhappy customer and always do my best to make sure ever customer is always 100% satisfied with my services. I did everything I told her I would do on the original bid, then went above and beyond, as there were additional issues I was not made aware of. I was told all she needed was a simple vacuum after she had recently gotten some debris in the pool from pressure washing the deck. I promised a 1-time vacuum and a filter cleaning. When I got to the pool I proceeded to vacuum but the debris was not coming up. I made her aware that it wasn’t just debris on the bottom but algae as well and it wasn’t simply vacuuming up. It needed to be brushed, shocked, & let the pool run 24 hrs to clear up the algae. After vacuuming, I cleaned her filter, brushed, and checked the chemicals. There was only 1 ppm chlorine in the pool and without chlorine being added it would never clear up the algae. I put the chemical in free of charge as a good will deed. I did everything I could possibly do in one day. Besides myself, I also had to pay my helper for his time. I charged them $45 and barely broke even. I was only letting her know the following day if I did need to come out that following day I would need to charge a small service fee of $30 to vacuum a 2nd day. When she said she couldn’t pay that I even sent another text stating I could come out the following Wednesday, free of charge, because I am out in her area to service my other pools on that day. To which I got no response to that text. I’m very sorry that she is unhappy and wish she could’ve contacted me back to come out 5 days later for no charge. If I would’ve known there was algae growing before I had gotten there I would’ve been able to let her know prior that it wouldn’t of been a simple vacuum. Again I always like to address things with the customer and am very sorry I couldn’t of gotten the chance to help more. All of my current customers know that I always go above and beyond what I should do. I take great pride in my business and it affects me deeply when I have an unsatisfied customer. My apologies! Sincerly, Jesse Drew Owner, AquaClear Pool Service, LLC This is the whole text that I sent. Ms Sazan cut and pasted only a portion of my text; Hello James...it’s Jesse with Aquaclear. If I come out there today I would need to charge a small service fee of $30...In my original bid I promised a one time vacuum and filter cleaning. Yesterday I vacuumed, brushed, checked and added 25$ worth of chemicals, and also cleaned filter. please let me know if you still need me to come out there. Thank you

Finally found a pool service that actually take care of your pool! I tried 4 different services before hitting jackpot. They gave the pool a total cleaning never seen done by the others pool services who only appear to just check your water. I’m totally please with the value and level of service they have provided. Please be sure to contact them. You won’t believe how much you’re paying for the subpar service you’re using now!May 5, 2018
