FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base each project on the amount of time I think it will take me and then apply my hourly rate. I usually give my client a range in price and will let them know if it will cost more. Some projects I am able to quote a flat fee. Communication is the key so that no one is hit with any unexpected prices. Once we have an agreed upon price, I like to ask for a deposit, and then get the remainder upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to talk with my client to get to know them and to understand more about their business. I like to ask my clients to send me some examples of the type of design that they like. This gives me a good jumping off point to start working on their unique design. I will work on a concept to show the client for approval and once the client approves it then I will work on tightening up the design and making edits as needed. My main objective is to make the client happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Because of my extensive training in fine art as well as digital art I am able to offer what some other graphic designers may not be able to do such as hand drawn illustrations.
