This company called me to see if I was interested in a $39.99 PM and unit inspection. BIG MISTAKE !!! My system ran perfect pre-inspection. Technician came out, diagnosed a low refrigerant in the system and did a fill ($390). Problem is, he never documented nor informed me how much coolant was injected into the system. On his way he went. 6 days later I notice my system isn't cooling ....temp shows 80 degrees. So I call them back, informing them I have a problem. Out comes a different tech and when he arrives I notice the system starts to cool again....temp cools to 74 degrees without any interaction. He still decides to check the system out and proceeds to tell me my refrigerant is low. Now I'm angry because that makes no sense if it was filled y days ago. He suggests a leak test and more troubleshooting. Eventually recommends a new system. I hold out, and contact another contractor whom I relay the symptoms to and they announce something doesn't sound legit with the diagnosis. The new contractor comes out checks things out but notices my refrigerant isn't low at all. Does more testing with gauges and then goes into the attic to inspect the air handler unit and his testing reveals a damaged expansion valve. He does a vacuum of the lines and pulls out over 8lbs of refrigerant ...so the system wasn't leaking as it was first diagnosed by Alaskan. The end result was me paying the new contractor over $1500 to remove/vacuum, recharge/refill, and replace the TXV. I have attempted multiple times to speak with someone at Alaskan, over a 2 week period and no one returns my calls. Something else I've learned is the company has changed its name and it's technicians write glowing reviews to spike its rating to a favorable level. I do not recommend this company.

Very disappointed in the customer service they provided to my dad over the phone! We called Alaskan to come service our Air Conditioner! He made the appointment last week first they had the wrong info and said that we wanted to replace our air conditioner my dad said No that’s wrong I want maintenance on my air conditioner and I have a coupon for 39.99! They made the appointment and had all his info at that time not once did they say anything else! Appointment was scheduled for May 8th between 1 and 2pm. Today they call and said they will not honor the special because we used the coupon 6 Years Ago?!?! Are you kidding me!! One we never used you guys and two even if we did are you serious 6 years ago? That’s a joke and the worst customer service ever! We had warranty with another company that installed our unit and it was not Alaskan!! I will definitely let my friends and family know not to use this company! Very disappointed!

Tom Woods was very professional, showed up on time. We are now getting all our ducts sealed after he told me how much we would save in the future. Hope he is right! He was very sincere.

Woke up to system failure. Alaskan got out in time frame indicated, identified problem, repaired and tested to assure it was resolved. Gave a suggestion to save energy.
