Passiflora English Language Learning

Introduction: I work with parents of pre-school and school-age children to help them develop the English skills necessary to keep up with their children's expanding world of school, after-school activities and social life. From homework and parent-teacher conferences to sports, music lessons and birthday parties, there is a lot going on in their lives, and the better the parents' English, the more fully they can participate in children's lives. I have the experience and resources to help with English speaking, reading and writing - in a relaxing, fun and supportive way. And, there will always be a pot of tea to share because tea makes all things better! I love teaching ESL because I get to work with wonderful people from many different cultures and help them improve their lives by successfully communicating in English. I also strive to educate students about the history and government of the United States, as well as local and national politics. All of my students will feel confident, valued, and safe when they are with me, and I want them to carry those feelings in their every day lives.
