Unsatisfied with my experience with One Hope Tree Service. We agreed upon a certain time for them to arrive for the estimate, to which they showed up 2 hours early, okay...i can let that one go. Then i showed what i needed serviced, and that gal laughed at me. I asked if there was a problem, and she said no. I let her and the gentleman with her know what i wanted done with my Japanese Maple Tree, specific too, in which i said trim and thin out the branches and leaves from the inside out, to make a nice layer of leaves on the outside, this way when the leaves fall and grow back in they look clean and not bunched up. They assured me they could do this. Once the job was done, all they did was trim a couple wild branches on the top and take a power tool chain saw (or something similar) to cut the leaves off around the bottom. The tree wasn't much to look at prior to this service, so i'm not in a much worse position, however, this is not what i asked nor paid for. Edit: Another thing i thought odd and felt uncomfortable with. I was asked to change my verbiage on the check i wrote for the services. I wrote in a specific name, as well as the business name. I wanted it for my records, should i ever need to reference that. They asked if id scratch that out and just make it payable to a specific person. I said no...and the check was cashed a few days later.
