AwestrucKen Photography is Photography at it's best. We had them as "Official Photographer" for an annual dance Event, Swing Dance America, photographing action shots of dancers in motion, as well as still shots of dancers & attendees posing for pictures. The pictures were AMAZING! Turn around time was very short! The subjects in the pictures were quite happy with all the pictures, and we, the producers of Swing Dance America were quite happy as well. Pictures were taken in various lighting conditions; including bright spotlight, dimmed colored mood lighting, and dark lighting. All pictures turned out great. Professionalism, High Quality, and On Time Delivery was delivered by AwestrucKen Photography. Would definitely recommend AwestrucKen Photography for one's photographic needs.

AwestrucKen came out to our kickboxing studio to take individual and group shots of our staff in action. The results were fantastic and we use the pics to help promote our studio, in hiring ads, and more. I would use them again and again!

Ken of Awestruck photography is an amazing photographer. I trusted him with my 'family portrait' with my beloved dogs. They were probably one of his toughest clients, being non English speaking, and non human, but his patience and perseverance paid off, and he got the photos! I treasure each of the pictures he took, and have one hanging on my mantel because the photo is that good!!! I would trust Ken to capture any of my life events, and I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to work with him. Highly recommend!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person with the client to discuss details of the event we are shooting. I like to get to know them better to get an idea of the types of pictures would work for a client based on personality or maybe a theme/idea he/she likes or is known for. I also want to get to know them so they feel more comfortable around me on the day of the event so that I blend in as more of an extended member of the family/group, and not just a hired hand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in event photography since 2012 primarily focusing on dance events.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started taking pictures of dancers at a local weekly dance I assist in running. That grew into a love of capturing people in action, smiling, enjoying life--capturing a memorable moment in time.
