Introduction: I personally supervise each and every job and never take on more work that I can perform. I believe that the Customer comes first and that a major renovation such as a kitchen or bathroom is stressful enough. My goals have always been to make this an enjoyable experience for my Customers. I was a quality control manager on Government projects for many years prior to starting my Company in 2003. Therefore the large percentage of my projects have no punchlist. I enjoy making my Customers happy and satisfied with the end result, my competitive pricing, and the personal touch I give to each and every job. There is a feeling of deep satisfaction to turn a closed up compartmentalized home into a flowing open floor plan; Turning a 70's style bath or kitchen into something that looks like it was originally built that way. And I feel great satisfaction when my Customers can't wait to show their neighbors and family their remodel project.

Over the years, Joe Henry, at New Dominion Contractors has done a few projects for our house. A few years ago, he removed a wall between two bedrooms to enlarge our master bedroom. It turned out seamless and you would never know that there were two distinct rooms. Most recently, Joe enlarged our original 1971 master bathroom. He more than doubled the size of the bathroom. He made suggestions, was honest and straightforward with pricing and the whole remodeling process. Everything turned out beautifully. The end master bathroom was even better than I imagined it would be. I wouldn't hesitate to use Joe for any project big or small.

Mr. Henry was very engaged and proactive with the entire shower remodel. He always communicated early when challenges would rise and did his best to deconflict. From demolishing to plumbing to tiling to shower glass door, he ensured that everything was done correctly and at a high standard. While my intended budget was $5k, I ended up paying $6,200, which I have no complaints because of my last minute upgrades. The only somewhat negative thing I can say about New Dominion is, you made it way to easy and alluring in making upgrades available with overnight shipping. Thank you.

There is no possible way to come up with any standard pricing as all jobs are custom.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Site visit getting to know what the customer is looking to accomplish, their budget, material ideas or selections, measurement of all pertinent information required, back to office to work up quote, then a second visit to Customer to go over proposal and answer any questions that may arise.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Civil Engineering degree and over 40 years experience as well as a master of many trades.
