I can't say enough good things about this company. After a horrible experience with another window company, I was extremely hesitant of all window companies. However, American Builders proved me wrong. They stepped in an offered to install my windows at a discount after hearing what the other window company had done to me. We order the windows and in roughly 4 weeks my windows were being installed. My home looks absolutely amazing! The pure fact that I had to put no money up front was a huge selling point. The installation crew were very professional and courteous. Again I can't say enough great things about this company. They stepped in when we were in a bad spot and made me a true believer that there are still good people in this world.

Sales rep, Steve, was very thorough, answering all my questions and fully explaining the products. The installation was flawless, the crew was quick, efficient, friendly and respectful and cleaned up completely after the job.

This is a solicited review, but one I give so others can benefit. I was just waiting for a place to send one.
The service I requested was to replace 12 windows with new "Super Windows". Luckily I came across the American Builders advertisement before I went with other quotes received during the estimates period I went through, or I would have been disappointed afterward considering what I saved.
It took a Crew of 3 men one and one-half hours to completely remove and replace the existing single pane old windows. It looked like a war zone until the job was done, but if I had to do it again I would.
The efficiency and quality of the products received is the same I had seen from other vendors who should just stop trying to compete. The best sellers for the replacement windows is obviously the competitors of "American Builders". I don't think there was a choice that would have been better, considering the end results.
I use electric heating and can tell the difference in retention of produced heat since replacement of the old windows during this current winter. The double pane replacement definitely makes a difference when compared to the single pane windows I had replaced. The glass inside does not even get hot like the single panes did in past summers. This gives me a more efficient cooling with Air Conditioning.
The other companies competing should just start a Maid Cleaning Service, and tell their potential customers "We don't do Windows" because they are no competition for American Builders with what they do advertise now as installers.
Get your quotes. Do some shopping. Then you decide. I think I went in the right direction, and once you do the comparison you will too.
I am thus far satisfied with the product, installation, and efficiency of the "Super Window".
