The girls and I planned a couples day trip to Napa for valentine’s day and decided to go with Bellagio since his quote offered an SUV stretch limo. I went with his quote, although it was higher than other offers, because of the vehicle. We communicated through messaging within Thumbtack about suggestions for wineries and Michael was helpful. Prior to the trip, I paid a down payment via PayPal and we were all set. A day before the trip, Michael messaged me indicating he had lost the itinerary I sent him with winery locations and times for each one that I created on excel and I sent it to him again. I thought we were ready to go, since everything went smoothly so far. On the day of, Michael arrived 40 mins early which was great. I saw him coming up the mountain but wasn’t sure it was him because it was a regular stretch limo. When he pulled up to the house, I was clearly shocked since it was definately not the SUV we had anticipated. Fine. It wasn’t a huge deal because the day had already come and we wanted to just go. Before taking off, we went over the contract, he took a copy of my credit card for damages in case there were, and went over the rules. I felt that he was very rude and assumed we were going to be rowdy. He said no loud music, no talking loudly, and no feet on the bar. We are all married, in our mid thirties, and were very respectful from the beginning. We even offered him coffee in a thermos mug, a valentine’s day snack pack with pretzels and chocolate. I let that go. We just wanted to have a good time. Then he said he needed the remaining funds up front in cash. Since I paid via PayPal, I assumed he would charge me later for the remaining. My fault for not checking. No where in our conversation said that he needed cash up front before we left for the trip. He insisted that he told me. He drove me to the bank so that my husband and I could withdraw from the atm to pay him. I didn’t make a huge deal and just wanted to start our day. The day went on and it was fine. We got to each place on time and we had a amazing day. Until the last winery. When we came out, Michael informed us that according to his gps, that we would go into overtime and that he would give me two options. One was he needed cash up front of $75 plus tip to make it $100 even. Or pay him later. My friend intervened and said since we are going to be late, that we should hit the road now and we will pay him later. He rudely said “I have a contract with her (me) and I will work it out with her.” I said, “ since you gave me two options, I’ll pay you later.” He then said “can I trust you to pay later?” I was taken aback because why wouldn’t we? You can’t abandon us here in Napa! So we hit the road. When we got back to the house, he demanded his money. I gave him $70 because the website listed that as the overtime pay. He asked for the $30 as a courtesy because we went overtime. I was appalled bc I thought gratuity was optional. My friends and I had planned to give him 10% which would have been way more than $30. To make this nightmare just end, I said I will ask my friends for more cash in the house. He followed us up the stairs which was creepy! Ugh. We gave him the money and he left. I am so upset that we weren’t promised the vehicle he had said he had. He was rude at times. And creepy for following us up the stairs to our home. That is not cool. I would not rehire him as his car was crappy, and not top of the line like he claimed. The stereo system was crappy as well. Check the pictures. The car was pretty rundown with poorly done window tinting and a stereo system that sounded like it was busted and blown. He was nice at times and creepy and rude st others. Please read the following facts and clarifications!!!!!! We go out of our way to provide the best service at best prices . there are two types of customers , those who appreciate the price, service and conveniences provided and those who see everything in a negative way and are never happy no matter what. We have customers who are extremely happy and pleased with our drivers, limos,service and everything else. I will explain to you why Annie as a customer is of the second kind. 1- we provided her group of 9 people with a 10-passenger top of the limo built by the best of the best in American coachbuilders (Dabryan Coachbuilders) with full complimentary wet bar, ipod bluetooth connectivity and and a a chauffeur and guide with over 14 years experience in Napa Sonoma wine tours at 70 DOLLARS AN HOUR ONLY. she says our price was higher than other companies . that is lie, a lie that is intended to harm our business. this is what she said after we quoted her the very low price "For 8 hours?" she was so suprised because no other company gave her a quote that low!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so she is being totally untruthful. we created the itiernary for her wine tour. As a part of our comittment to great service , we always show up early to make the client relax, we call and text the customer of our arrival. We also provide the client with a contract with all the details of the service and pricing, Annie was told just like every other customer that please do not blast the stereo, please do not place your shoes on the bar, please do not jump on the seats or scream out of the window, No other customer ever took offense to this , but somehow Annie managed to think that that is being rude and offensive, so you see there is two kinds of customers. Annie had contacted us many timed before her charter and was told and was texted that the balance of her charter is due at time of pick up, but yet she forgot . she did not have any moiney to pay for her service. just like she did not have enough money to pay for her overtime. Her friends to dig up 30 dollars to pay for the difference, and they were by the stairs gathering a few dollars each, that is why the driver had to go by the stairs to get the money. WHAT IS CREEPY ABOUT THAT!!!!!! Annie was trying not pay for her service and pay at the end, and at the end she was not going to pay, Just like she had a hard time trying to pay for her overtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the contract it shows overtime price rate clearly, but yet Annie wanted to make up her own pricing and establish her own pricing and rules. At the last winery there were already past the 8 hour chartered time, she was told before she stated the charter that overtime is due in advance .
I highly recommend this company. I got response very quickly. Their price was competitive, I should say much better than other offers. The driver was very professional. Limo was immaculate. He was very knowledgable and helped us to plan our day trip. We had a great day.Jul 22, 2017

we want to thank Dave for his review, we go out of our way to provide our clients with the best service possible.we never sent a confirmation to Dave since Dave never followed up on his inquiry for service. It was only late the night before we received a email from Dave wanting the service so we kept calling Dave at 8am next morning trying to reach Dave to verify service,however Dave,s phone was busy until 9:40am.Dave wanted the service at 10am.we got the limo to Davs house by 10:30am. That is why the driver in rush forgot his wallet.we provided the best service possible and did not charge for Dave for extra time Dave had used. Other limo companies would have been much higher for a 8 passenger limo going from San Ramon to Windsor for 8 hours.Had Dave given previous notice for service we would have able to properly prepare.again we strive to provide the possible service at the most competitive rates.We are glad we the pleasure of providing service for Dave and his family. Davs pleasure is our mission.
