I was so happy with the work done renovating my kitchen by Georgia Home Improvement Specialists, I called them back to install hardwood floors in my house and do a bathroom remodel. They will definitely be the only ones I call for anything I need from this point forward!!!!

I am extremely disappointed. Jason Hartwell is the owner and carpenter. He represented himself as vastly experienced. He left insulation out of my ceiling, he did not build a 2x4 frame with header for my relocated back door. Just stuck the frame in. Now the door is sagging and I will have to pay someone else to come in and properly install. His main employee stole from me. I found a tarp that had been used for a key toss game when I was not present. The electrical he did is not up to code. He left a big hole in the floor under my dryer in the laundry room.....so much more. I checked his references before I hired him but now realized guess I should have visited his finished jobs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Personally, I got started doing general construction and remodeling with my dad in the summers when I was about 8 years old. It was something to pass the time but i quickly fell in love with the work. Being able to change a house to a home was such a satisfying feeling, I haven't stopped since!
