I have taken several formal classes from professional faux finishers (including one from Annie Sloan).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with home owners who are doing partial and complete renovations. They wanted an updated style, but wanted to avoid the normal cost associated with purchasing all new everything. I helped them take what they already had and transformed it into something that they LOVE today.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I completed a kitchen refinishing project in a little more than a week. This included painting the ceiling, all molding and interior doors, and refinishing all kitchen cabinets. I especially liked this project because my client asked me to help her design it, so we got to choose the colors and cabinet finish together. I used chalk paint with a clear wax for protection, then added some depth to the cabinets by using a dark brown wax.
